Icetubs IceBath Hot & Cold Plunge Tub: Thermowood & Stainless Steel (1-Person)
Most cold plunges have you sit upright in a barrel with your knees near your chest. The IceBath lets you lie back. At nearly 89 inches long, with a back that reclines at a 60% angle, this handcrafted Thermowood and stainless steel tub gives you full-body immersion while reclining, and you step in and out as easily as a bathtub. One engine cools the water to 37.4°F and heats it to 100.4°F. The same tub handles a cold plunge in the morning and a warm soak at night. It runs on a standard 110V household outlet, with no 220V wiring required.
Why This Stands Out
You lie down instead of folding up. The bathtub-style shape supports your full body while reclining. Your shoulders, back and legs are under at the same time, and you aren't bracing yourself against the sides. Getting in and out is a simple step.
Cold and warm in one unit. The 1HP Icetubs engine covers a range of 37.4°F to 100.4°F, with no ice to buy or haul. You can set it from the panel on the engine or from the Icetubs app.
Water that stays clear without harsh chemicals. A three-stage filtration system and a built-in ozonator run the full volume through the filter every six minutes. They catch particles as small as 5 microns. Depending on use, one fill can last up to three months between water changes.
Built from materials meant to last. The exterior is Thermowood, which is wood that has been heat-treated for stability and resistance to moisture. The interior is stainless steel. Each tub is handcrafted and goes through several quality checks before it ships.

Installation & Power
Electrical: The IceBath runs on 110V/60Hz, drawing up to 14.5 amps, with a maximum power input of 1.7 kW. It plugs into a grounded household outlet, and no 220V wiring is needed. Because the engine draws up to 14.5 amps, we recommend a dedicated 20-amp, GFCI-protected circuit installed by a licensed electrician. Outdoors, the power cable itself is water-resistant, but the breaker box on the cord must be wall-mounted and protected from rain.
Placement: Put the tub on a level surface that won't settle. Filled, it weighs about 1,224 lbs. If you're placing it on an elevated deck or an upper floor, confirm the surface can carry that load. You fill it with a standard garden hose using the included Gardena attachment.
Cold climates: For outdoor installs, follow the winterization guidance in the owner's manual before freezing weather arrives.
Shipping: Free LTL freight delivery to the contiguous 48 states.
Maintenance
• Between sessions: Keep the Thermo Cover on to hold the temperature and keep out debris.
• Filters: Check and replace cartridges on the schedule in the owner's manual. Three filters come included, and replacements are available.
• Water changes: Change the water up to every three months, depending on use. Drain the tub, wipe down the stainless interior, and refill.
• Outdoor installs: Inspect the Thermowood exterior seasonally.
Who This Is For
This tub is for people who want cold immersion they'll actually look forward to, not tolerate. It suits anyone who finds upright barrels cramped and would rather recline, and households that want cold plunging and warm soaking from one unit without 220V wiring. It also fits home gyms, recovery rooms and outdoor wellness spaces where looks matter as much as performance. It's built for one person at a time.
