The Finnmark FD-5 Trinity XL brings infrared, traditional steam, and red light therapy together in a cedar sauna big enough for four. Full-spectrum infrared heaters deliver deep, even warmth up to 170°F, a 4.5 kW Harvia traditional heater brings the stones up to 190°F for a classic Finnish steam session, and a dedicated red light panel completes the experience. It is the largest and most complete sauna in the Finnmark lineup.

Most saunas give you one kind of heat. The Trinity XL gives you three experiences in one room. UL Listed Spectrum Plus™ short-wave infrared heaters deliver deep, penetrating warmth. The Harvia KIP traditional heater, designed and made in Finland, holds a large bed of stones, so you can ladle water over the rocks for waves of soft steam. And a 192-diode LED panel adds red light at 650nm, with color light settings to set the mood.

This is a sauna built for sharing. An extra-large two-tier bench seats up to four adults, with 75 inches of interior headroom, and 240V power gives both the infrared and traditional heaters the strength to heat the larger room evenly. The interior is Western Red Cedar, which naturally resists mold, mildew, and odor, and the exterior is Thermal Plus™ Aspen, treated with heat and steam so it resists rotting, warping, and chipping. An 8mm tempered glass door with a gasket seals the heat and steam in.

Installation & Setup

• Delivery: Ships free by LTL freight to the lower 48 states (654 lbs shipping weight). Freight is typically curbside, so plan on help to move it inside, and measure your doorways and hallways first.

• Assembly: The FD-5 assembles from pre-built wall, floor, and roof panels. Plan on at least two people. Detailed instructions are included.

• Power: The FD-5 runs on 240V and requires installation by a licensed electrician. The infrared heaters and the 4.5 kW Harvia heater together need more power than a single standard circuit, so contact us before ordering to confirm the exact circuits and breakers your electrician will need to install.

• Space: The FD-5 measures about 72" W × 48" D × 83" H and fits under a standard 8-foot ceiling. Leave a few inches around the sauna for airflow and room in front for the door to swing open.

• Placement: Indoor use only. Place on a level, hard surface such as tile, concrete, laminate, or hardwood.

Maintenance

• After each session: Sit on a towel to protect the bench from sweat. Leave the door open a few minutes so the interior can dry.

• Weekly: Wipe the bench, backrest, and floor with a damp cloth. Clean the glass with a non-ammonia glass cleaner.

• Cedar care: Never use harsh chemicals, bleach, or wood sealers on the interior cedar. Light sanding removes stains.

• New sauna: Fresh cedar has a strong natural aroma for the first few weeks. Running the sauna a few times before your first session helps it settle.

• Sauna stones: Use only clean water on the stones. Once a year, lift and rearrange the stones and replace any that are cracked or crumbling. Correctly stacked stones are important for safe heater operation and are required to keep the Harvia warranty valid. Finnmark recommends keeping a spare box of stones on hand.
