Finnmark FD-3 Full-Spectrum 4-Person Infrared Sauna

Stretch out and relax in the Finnmark FD-3. With a 67-inch-wide cedar interior, it seats three to four adults, or gives one or two people room to lie back and unwind. Full-spectrum infrared heat from two kinds of heaters working together reaches up to 170°F, powered by 3,150 watts on a 240V circuit for strong, even heat across the whole cabin.

Why This Sauna Stands Out

Most home infrared saunas use one type of heater. The FD-3 combines two. UL Listed Spectrum Plus™ short-wave heaters deliver intense, penetrating warmth, while Spectrum Carbon 360° long-wave panels surround you with gentle, even heat. In a larger cabin, that matters: with more than 3,000 watts of combined heat, the FD-3 warms the whole space, not just the seat closest to the heaters.

The materials are chosen to last. The interior is Western Red Cedar, which naturally resists mold, mildew, and odor. Installation & Setup

• Delivery: Ships free by LTL freight to the lower 48 states in a single crate (78" × 36" × 73", 536 lbs). Freight is typically curbside, so plan on help to move the crate inside, and measure your doorways and hallways first.

• Assembly: The FD-3 assembles from pre-built wall, floor, and roof panels. Plan on two people. Detailed instructions are included.

• Power: The FD-3 requires a 240V, 15A dedicated circuit with a NEMA 6-15 outlet, which most homes do not have. Have a licensed electrician install the outlet before your sauna arrives. Do not use an extension cord or adapter.

• Space: The FD-3 measures 72" W × 46" D × 78" H and fits under a standard 8-foot ceiling. Leave a few inches around the sauna for airflow and room in front for the door to swing open.

• Placement: Indoor use only. Place on a level, hard surface such as tile, concrete, laminate, or hardwood. Low-pile carpet works, but a hard floor is preferred.

Maintenance

• After each session: Sit on a towel to protect the bench from sweat. Leave the door open a few minutes so the interior can dry.

• Weekly: Wipe the bench, backrest, and floor with a damp cloth. Clean the glass with a non-ammonia glass cleaner.

• Cedar care: Never use harsh chemicals, bleach, or wood sealers on the interior cedar. Light sanding removes stains.

• New sauna: Fresh cedar has a strong natural aroma for the first few weeks. Running the sauna a few times before your first session helps it settle.
