Finnmark FD-2 Full-Spectrum 2-Person Infrared Sauna

The Finnmark FD-2 gives two people room to relax side by side, in a footprint of just 48 by 44 inches. Like every Finnmark full-spectrum sauna, it plugs into a standard 120V household outlet and reaches up to 170°F, with no electrician required. A Western Red Cedar interior surrounds you with heat from two kinds of infrared heaters working together, for a deep, even sweat you can share or enjoy on your own.

Why This Sauna Stands Out

Most home infrared saunas use one type of heater. The FD-2 combines two. UL Listed Spectrum Plus™ short-wave heaters deliver intense, penetrating warmth, while Spectrum Carbon 360° long-wave panels surround you with gentle, even heat. Together they give you full-body coverage and higher temperatures than carbon panels alone, with up to 170°F available from an ordinary wall outlet.

There is room to stretch out, too. The interior is 44 inches wide, enough for two adults to sit comfortably, or for one person to spread out after a workout. Installation & Setup

• Delivery: Ships free by LTL freight to the lower 48 states in a single crate (78" × 36" × 50", 441 lbs). Freight is typically curbside, so plan on help to move the crate inside, and measure your doorways and hallways first.

• Assembly: The FD-2 assembles from pre-built wall, floor, and roof panels. Plan on two people. Detailed instructions are included.

• Power: Plugs into a grounded standard 120V, 15A household outlet (NEMA 5-15). For best performance, use an outlet that is not shared with other large appliances. Do not use an extension cord.

• Space: The FD-2 measures 48" W × 44" D × 78" H and fits under a standard 8-foot ceiling. Leave a few inches around the sauna for airflow and room in front for the door to swing open.

• Placement: Indoor use only. Place on a level, hard surface such as tile, concrete, laminate, or hardwood. Low-pile carpet works, but a hard floor is preferred.

Maintenance

• After each session: Sit on a towel to protect the bench from sweat. Leave the door open a few minutes so the interior can dry.

• Weekly: Wipe the bench, backrest, and floor with a damp cloth. Clean the glass with a non-ammonia glass cleaner.

• Cedar care: Never use harsh chemicals, bleach, or wood sealers on the interior cedar. Light sanding removes stains.

• New sauna: Fresh cedar has a strong natural aroma for the first few weeks. Running the sauna a few times before your first session helps it settle.
